• Personal Identification Information: Name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and company name provided during account registration.
• Account Credentials: Encrypted passwords and security questions used to access the WHMCS client area and control panels (cPanel/Plesk).
• Payment Information: Transaction IDs and billing history. Note: We do not store full credit card numbers or sensitive bank details on our servers.
• Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and device information collected via server logs and cookies.
• Service Usage Data: Information regarding resource usage (CPU, RAM, Bandwidth), error logs, and file storage metrics associated with your hosting account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Service Provisioning: To set up web hosting accounts, provision VPS servers, and register domain names.
• Billing and Transactions: To process payments, issue invoices, and detect fraud.
• Communication: To send service renewal notices, technical support ticket responses, maintenance alerts, and security notifications.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with local laws in Jordan and international regulations (such as ICANN policies for domains).
• Improvement: To analyze server performance and optimize our network infrastructure.

3. Payment Processors (Tap & PayPal)

To ensure the security of your financial data, we utilize third-party payment gateways. We do not store your financial details directly.

Tap Payments (Tap.company): When you pay via Credit/Debit card or local payment methods supported by Tap, your payment details are transmitted securely directly to Tap Payments. Their use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

PayPal: When you choose to pay via PayPal, you will be redirected to the PayPal website. PayPal processes the transaction and sends us a confirmation token (IPN). We do not have access to your PayPal login credentials.

4. Information Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. However, we must share specific information with trusted third parties to operate our business:

• Domain Registrars: When you register a domain, we are required by ICANN to share your contact details (Name, Email, Address) with the respective domain registrar and registry. This information may be published in the public WHOIS database unless you purchase ID Protection.
• Software Licensors: If you purchase specific licenses (e.g., cPanel, CloudLinux, Softaculous), your IP address and hostname may be shared with the software provider for licensing validation.
• Legal Authorities: We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a court order or subpoena issued by Jordanian courts or relevant international authorities regarding criminal activity (e.g., terrorism, child exploitation).

5. Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your data within our WHMCS and server infrastructure:

• Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our website is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology.
• Access Control: Access to personal data is restricted to authorized Nanobyte Hosting employees who require it to perform their job duties.
• Server Security: We utilize firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and regular malware scanning to protect our servers and your data.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Our website and WHMCS client area use cookies to strictly manage your session. These cookies allow you to remain logged in as you navigate between pages and add items to your shopping cart. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from logging into the client area or making purchases.

7. Your Rights and Data Retention

Retention: We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, we may retain financial records for tax and legal compliance purposes for a period of up to 5 years.

Access & Correction: You have the right to access and update your personal information at any time by logging into the Client Area. If you wish to request the deletion of your data (Right to be Forgotten), please open a support ticket. Note that we cannot delete data that is required for active services or tax records.

8. International Data Transfers

While Nanobyte Hosting is based in Jordan, our servers or third-party providers (like Domain Registrars) may be located in other countries. By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your country of residence.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice in the Client Area. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
