Domain Registration Agreement

1. ICANN Obligations and Registrar Rules

Nanobyte Hosting acts as a service provider (reseller) for accredited domain registrars. You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the respective top-level domain (TLD) registry and ICANN's Registrant Rights and Responsibilities.

2. Accuracy of Information (WHOIS)

You are required to provide accurate, reliable, and current contact information for the domain registration, including your full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.

• Verification: ICANN requires us to verify your email address. Failure to respond to verification emails within 15 days will result in the suspension of your domain name.
• Updates: You must update your contact information within seven (7) days of any change.

3. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

• Non-Refundable: Domain registration, renewal, and transfer fees are strictly non-refundable once the order is submitted to the registry, even if you made a spelling error.
• Premium Domains: Some domains are designated as "Premium" by the registry and carry higher costs. We will notify you of these costs prior to registration.

4. Renewals and Expiration

It is your sole responsibility to ensure your domain is renewed before the expiration date.

• Auto-Renewal: If you have enabled auto-renewal and have a valid payment method on file, we will attempt to renew the domain prior to expiration.
• Grace Period: After expiration, most domains enter a "Grace Period" (usually 30 days) where you can renew at the standard rate.
• Redemption Period: If the Grace Period passes, the domain enters the "Redemption Period." Recovering a domain at this stage requires a substantial fee (typically $100 - $250 USD + renewal cost) mandated by the registry. Nanobyte Hosting cannot waive this fee.

5. Domain Transfers

You may transfer your domain to another registrar at any time, provided that:

• The domain is older than 60 days.
• The domain has not been transferred in the last 60 days.
• There are no overdue payments on your account.
• The domain is not locked due to a UDRP dispute.

6. Dispute Resolution (UDRP)

If a third party claims that your domain name infringes upon their trademark, you agree to submit to proceedings under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP). Nanobyte Hosting will not act as an arbiter in such disputes but will comply with any court orders or UDRP decisions.
